Hi! So this was hard... But I guess you're always on the good side with electronics. Of course movies, drones and t-shirts are also a good option. Hope I could help you, otherwise ASOS has a lot of good presents.

Salty Peanut Butter Rounds

Hi! For celebrating Christmas we need cookies. I found these peanut cookies in my favorite recipe book "New York - Christmas" and they're super easy and quick to make. I can really recommend this cooking book, it hasn't only just Christmassy recipes but also other New Yorker specialties!

What you will need:
  • 100g soft butter
  • 120g crunchy peanut butter
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 220g flour
  • 2 tbl backing powder
  • 100g salted peanuts

How to proceed:
  1. Stir butter, peanut butter, brown sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.
  2. Mix in the egg and then the blended flour and backing powder gradually. The mixture should become smooth.
  3. Preheat the oven on 180°C and lay out the parchment paper on the tray.
  4. Hack the peanuts and put them on a plate.
  5. Take walnut size pieces of dough, dip them into the peanuts and then place them on the parchment paper.
  6. Depending on the size of the cookies, bake them 14 to 18 minutes.

House Candleholder

Hi! It's the first advent and we can light our first candle... But as it is only the first, we are in need of some more candle light, don't you think?! Thats why we are making ourselves a pretty candleholder.

What we will need:

  • white air dry clay (mine is from Panduro)
  • baking paper
  • knife
  • boxcutter
  • dough roll
  • water

How to proceed:

  1. Make a schvblone for all of the sites of the house (1 front, 1 back, 2 sides, 2 roof).
  2. Roll out the clay and cut the pieces out.
  3. You'll want to make some sort of holes into the fonts, otherwise you won't see the candlelight.
  4. Let the fonts dry.
  5. Put them together, use clay as a glue and make the edges even.
  6. Let it dry and then put a candle inside and light it!

Christmas Season

Hi! Next week, the Christmas Markets are opening here in Germany and then on Sunday there'll be the first advent! My favorite time of the year... So, as I am still in school and the exam phase is in full action while Christmas, I thought it might be nice to have a list of things I want to do these upcoming  four weeks.
Hopefully this list is a reminder, so that I won't forget to treat myself sometimes with a bit of Christmas magic!

Baking Cookies

Christmas Market

Movies

Long Walks

Baking Pie

Decorating

And of course: Christmas Gifts
