Christmas Season

Hi! Next week, the Christmas Markets are opening here in Germany and then on Sunday there'll be the first advent! My favorite time of the year... So, as I am still in school and the exam phase is in full action while Christmas, I thought it might be nice to have a list of things I want to do these upcoming  four weeks.
Hopefully this list is a reminder, so that I won't forget to treat myself sometimes with a bit of Christmas magic!

Baking Cookies

Christmas Market

Movies

Long Walks

Baking Pie

Decorating

And of course: Christmas Gifts

Kenzo x H&M

Hi! So, what do we think of the collaboration between Kenzo and H&M? I must say, I was looking forward to it real long... But when I saw the pieces on the web, I was pretty unsure about me wearing some at all and even when, how I would even style them? Result: I didn't buy anything.
Still, it was bugging me that I didn't know how to style these pieces, so that I was curious on knowing how others out there make it work? For my research I actually used Instagram... Check these guys out, they're too cool!

Itchy Sweater?!

Hi! Have you found a beautiful mohair sweater to keep you warm in November? I have... But is it itching so much, you have to wear something underneath? Thats the deal with Mohair. Still, there are ways to make any wool a bit softer!

  • Wool has to lie down while drying.
  • Wash it in your washing machine (wool setting).
  • Always use wool detergent!
  • Wool conditioner, duh conditioner?!
  • Air your sweater sometimes, than to always wash.
  • Let the sweater cool over night in a freezer... (I know, sounds weird)
  • Give it bath time in lanolin (wool fat) a whole night through. Wring it out the next morning and let it dry (lying)!
