Minimalisitic Jewelry

Hi! Minimalistic jewelry is definitely my favorite kind of jewelry! They seem to contour your own beauty, giving it space to shine, instead of shining for its self. My favorite brands
are Stine A, Julie Sandlau, Pilgrim, &OtherStories and Moss Copenhagen, mostly danish designers.

DIY Minimalistic Ring

Hi! Minimalistic Accessoires are my favorites, they don't make the beauty, they underline the hidden beauty in all of us. On Saturday there will be a lot of inspiration and where to get the jewelry. So this week is the week of minimalistic jewelry.

Do you speak Prada?

Hi! Tu parle Prada? Non?! Tiens. We have to change that! Don't worry, you know more than you think. Lets begin with the cours:

  • "avant-garde" - in fashion it means something new, that is very innovative and eccentric

  • "azure" - the color in the middle of blue and green

  • "barette" - a buckle to fixate your hairdo

  • "bouclé" - Chanel rocks this fabric:

  • "boutique" - a small fashionable shop with unique designs

  • "cerise" - a color between red and pink

  • "chartreuse" - a yellowish green

  • "chantilly" - a precious, handmade lace

  • "chignon" - a bun at the lower end of your head

  • "cliché" - something new

  • "cloche" - a hat or a skirt shaped as bell

  • "couture" - the same as in english, is used today for high fashion designs with handmade details

  • "crêpe de chine" - a particular fine silk, that has a light creped texture

  • "culottes" - the trousers that look like skirts. (ugh had one of those when I was little!)

  • "décolletage" - the décolleté

  • "eau de toilette" - perfume, that is less intense than a "eau de perfume" (the normal perfume)

  • "fuchsia" - a lilac-red color

  • "mélange" - a mixture or combination of trends or elements, which have to do with fashion

  • "minaudiere" - a clutch

  • "motif" - a design or a pattern

  • "ombré" - a color proceeding into another one

  • "parka" - a jacket with a hood and mostly with fur

  • "tulle" - a netted but soft fabric (check out my post on how to wear tulle!)
