How to wear Plisse Skirts

Hi! I have a confession to make. Plisse is all over my Pinterest, but now that I have my beloved skirt, I am at a loss. How do you actually wear it?! So I went through my Pinterest and found these pics for inspiration, how to wear plisse.

Marble

Hi! Since a quite long time marble is rocking everywhere. I actually don't know where it started, was it interior? Here is some inspiration, how to rock the marble, but please, try to not overdue it! I figured that the combination of marble and tree is my favorite, because it shows either ones best sides.
In this post there is also a little DIY project, how to easily make a shoe carton into an accessorize.

Do It Yourself: Marble Box

What you will need:
  • carton
  • marble foil
How to proceed:
  1. Figure out how much foil you need to cover up the whole carton. Its like wrapping a gift.
  2. Put the foil unto the box! Try to make the surface even, for example with a ruler or the end of a scissor.
  3. Finished!

Wool Wall Art

Hi! I am totally in love with the "rugs on the wall" trend. Especially in winter it makes your room  cosier! But with fresh colors, this trend will be going on all year. I made this for the one wall in my room, where also the Stitch Decor is hanging.

What you will need:

  • a loom or a cardboard
  • cotton yarn
  • wool roving (different colors)
  • wool yarn in white
  • scissor
  • stick or a branch

How to proceed:
  1. If you don't have a loom, you can always just take a cardboard and cut the two opposite lengths of it. My cuts had a gap of 1cm between each other and were also 1cm deep. Here's your self made loom!!!
  2. Warp your loom.
  3. Make some tassels at the bottom of your weaving. (Slip the center of your folded fringe over the first warp string and then back to the top. Fold the long ends through the center, as shown on picture... Pull gently so that the knot tightens.)
  4. Weave with the white wool yarn up to 2cm.
  5. Start weaving with the wool roving. In contrast to the weaving with wool you'll have to weave with no tool.
  6. I pulled the first layer up, so that you couldn't see the white cotton yarn. The next layer was kept straight. The same procedure on and on.
  7. In the end weave again with the white wool yarn (1-2cm).
  8. Be careful, taking it off the loom. Straighten every string. When finished, cut the looms open and wrap the ends around a stick (I used a branch). Knot together when tightened.
  9. Hang the Wool Art on the Wall!

Tulle

Hi! Tulle is a fabric that makes us feel different. Majestic, beautiful and extreme feminine. Lets celebrate its talent to variate. Here is the story of tulle, sorted in colors:

The color we want tulle at every stage in life, rose:

The color that makes tulle more elegant and dramatic, blue:

The two contrast that always work, black and white:
